This is a request for City Council to set a special closed meeting for the
purpose of discussing the new employee compensation plan. City staff are
ready to review proposed salary ranges, comparable worth points and a
policy for movement through a salary range. Cy Smythe and his associate
from Labor Relations need to attend this meeting. His available dates are
February 14, 16 or 23. February 23 works best for him but he can re-
arrange his schedule for either the 14 or 16 date.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO SET A SPECIAL CLOSED MEETING ON
, 1995, AT 6: 30 P.M. FOR THE PURPOSE OF REVIEWING A
PROPOSED EMPLOYEE SALARY PLAN.
