The Country Hills 6th Addition construction was completed in November, 1994. All
public utilities and streets were inspected and accepted by the City as of November 1,
1994. This item is a request to Council to accept the streets and utilities for perpetual
maintenance in the Country Hills 6th Addition. Per the Development Contract and this
acceptance, a two year warranty period begins {until November 1, 1996) on the streets,
watermain, sanitary sewer and storm sewer.
Staff recommends that the City accept the street and utilities.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ACCEPT THE STREETS AND UTILITIES FOR
PERPETUAL MAINTENANCE IN THE COUNTRY HILLS 6TH ADDITtON, CITY PROJECT #229.

Dear Bud:
The above mentioned project has been constructed in accordance with the
approved plans and specifications. Placement of the wear course on the
streets is complete, as well as completion of the project punch list items.
As-built drawings have also been submitted to the City.
The Contractors involved have furnished the City with Maintenance Bonds
for utilities and streets and are attached. It is now appropriate that we
ask the City to make final acceptance of the streets and utilities, and
reduce, or release, the Developer's letter of credit accordingly.
I appreciate your cooperation in expediting this matter. Thank you.
