Rishi Paul Mohabir, president of Rosemount Liquors, Inc. has submitted an
off-sale intoxicating liquor license application. He is in the process of
purchasing Mac's Bottle Shop located at 15070 Chippendale Avenue. Mr. ,
Mohabir is the sole owner of the corporation and happens to live in
Rosemount. Police Chief Knutsen conducted a criminal background check of
the applicant who has a clean record. The applicant has paid the required
Iicense fees and provided the necessary application information. It is in '
order for the city council to schedule a public hearing on this matter.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING FOR MAY 16, 1995, AT
8:00 P.M. , OR AS SOON THEREAFTER AS POSSIBLE, TO CONSIDER AN OFF SALE
INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATION FROM ROSEMOUNT LIQUORS, INC.
