At its March 28, 1995 Regular Meeting the Planning Commission
reviewed a proposed ordinance text amendment to revise the Park
Dedication section of the Subdivision Ordinance (Ordinance XVII.4) .
The intent of this amendment is to clarify and update the language
and the formula for determining park dedication requirements. The
Planning Commission reviewed the draft ordinance and coneurred that
the proposed revisions provide improved clarification and less
confusion in applying the formula for all types of residential,
commercial, and industrial development.
Recoa�eaded Action: A MOTION to schedule a public hearing to
receive public testimony regarding an amendment to Subdivision
Ordinance XVII.4 regarding Park Dedication for Tuesday, April 18,
1995 at 8:00 .m. or as soon thereafter as ossible.

TEXT AMENDMENT TO
CITY OF ROSEMOUNT SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE
(Park Dedication)

No�cE IS HIIt�sY Grv�x, the City Council of the City of Rosemount will hold a public
heari.ng to consider the item listed below on 'I�esday, April 18, 1995 in the Council
Chambers of the Ciry Hall, 2875 145th Street West, beginning at 8:00 p.m. or as soon
thereafter as possible.
The purpose of this hearing is to consider a text amendment to City of Rosemourct Subdivision
Ordinance XVII.4 for clarification and updating of the language and formula for determining
park dedication. No substantial changes are proposed, however the new language will render
the ordinance easier to understand for computation and determining park dedication as
well as providing for consistency with state statute requirements.
A copy of the proposed amendment is available for review and comment at City Hall located
at 2875 145th Street West, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through
Friday.
Persons wishing to comment on the proposed amendment are invited to attend this public
heating on Tuecda�,Anril 1R�1995 at R:00 n.m. Formal written comments will also be
accepted prior to the meeting date. Please forward all comments and inquiries to the
Planning Department.
