In 1994 Mr. Lloyd E. Meyer, Jr. received a special permit, authorized by
the City Council, to hunt ducks and geese on the 40 acres he lives on.
Authorization is needed because this area is located west of Bicardi Avenue
and south of 120th Street which is in the "R" area of the Rosemount Hunting
and Shooting map.
Mr. Meyer would like to renew his permit to hunt water fowl on this property
during the 1995 Minnesota water fowl season which is not in conflict with
state law or regulations.
After reviewing the request and the area map as offered by Mr. Meyer, I
feel there is no threat to area residents.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE A PERMIT ISSUED BY THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT TO AUTHORIZE MR. MEYER TO HUNT WATER FOWL ON HIS 40 ACRES OF
RENTED LAND DURING THE 1995 HUNTING SEASON.

Lloyd Meper Jr . and Darlene Meyer. We would like to ask
Council permission to Hunt WaterFowl on the 40—Acre lot
of land . During the time of October l to December 25 of
the Hunting Season.
We woul•d like to have a Party Of (4) during this season,
like a relative or a freind (an eztra person) . We would
be using shotguns only. With Steel Shot required bp
(law and Regulations) .
We hav.e enclosed all footage of the Hunting Blind to
the nearest & negt nearest neighbor. (PLEASE SEE ENCLOSED)

Dear Mr. Meyer,
This letter serves as a special permit, approved by the City
Council on September 6, 1994, to authorize Lloyd E. Meyer, Jr. ,
Darlene Meyer, Joe Demaio and one accompanied guest to hunt and
discharge a firearm on 40 acres of land rented by Lloyd E. Meyer,
Jr. located southwest of the intersection of 120th Street West
and Bacardi Avenue West which is located within the "R" area of
the City of Rosemount's Hunting/Shooting Map subject to the
following: •
1. This permit is for the hunting of ducks and geese
during the 1994 Minnesota Waterfowl season which is
not in conflict with State law or regulations.
2. Hunting area shall be within the area shown on your
request map.
3 . This permit is for the 1994 hunting season only.�
This permit is not transferable to any other person other than
those mentioned above and is subject to the conditions of Mr.
Meyer's application.
