The public works department has two pickup trucks that are no longer useful to the city because of their age
and/or condition. This is a request for council to declare the two pickup trucks listed below as surplus property
and to authorize city staffto advertise for bids or to take the trucks to the state auction.
The two pickup trucks are a 1975 Dodge 3/4 ton 4 x 4 and a 1986 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup.
Upon council declaring the trucks as surplus property, city staff will first place an advertisement for bids in the
Rosemount Town Pages. If the bids come in unreasonably low, we will sell the trucks at the auction.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO DECLARE A 1975 DODGE 3/4 TON PICKUP TRUCK
AND A 1986 CHEVROLET 1/2 TON PICKUP TRUCK AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND TO
AUTHORIZE STAFF TO DISPOSE OF T'HE EQUIPMENT.
