George Mikutowski, recently hired as Arena Manager, has resigned and elected to return to his former
position at Victory Memorial Ice Arena.
I am recommending Tom Murphy to fill the vacancy of Arena Manager. Tom Murphy originally applied
for this position when it was open last December. Tom was selected for an interview at that time and was
ranked second highest of all applicants. Tom has been serving as Acting Arena Manager in our facility
since Randy Moe left the position. Tom has performed well in his duties and is qualified for the position
of Arena Manager.
Tom Murphy accepted the offer at a starting salary of $30,250.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to accept the resignation of George Mikutowski as Arena
Manager, and to hire Tom Murphy for the position of Arena Manager.
COUNCIL ACTION:
