Mallard Pond is a proposed subdivision in the Agriculture District
consisting of two lots and an outlot. The two lots are five and 15
acres, intended for residential use at the agriculture density of
one per ten acres. The remaining parcel of approxima.tely 150 acres
will be an outlot.
On February 14, 1995 the Planning Commission reviewed the proposed
Mallard Pond subdivision and recommended approval. The Planning
Commission also recommended that the public hearing be set as
required by the Ordinance.
Recommeaded Action: A MOTION to schedule a public hearing for
Tuesday, March 7, 1995 to be held at 8: 00 p.m. or as soon
thereafter as possible for the purpose of receiving public
testimony regarding the Mallard Pond agricultural subdivision
ro osal.

AGRICULTURAL SUBDIYISION
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the City Council of the City of Rosemount will hold a public
hearing on Tuesday, March 7, 1995 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 2875 145th
Street West, beginning at 8:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The public hearing
listed below pertains to property situated east of Bacardi Avenue and north of County Road
38. This subdivision is proposed to be located on the following legally described property:
The South Half of the Southeast Quarter(S�/of the SE'/.�)of Section 16,Township 115,Range 19,Dakota
County,�linnesota,except the north 600.00 feet themof. Together�vith the Northeast Quarter(NE'/a)of
Section 21,Township I 15,Range 19,Dakota County.vtinnesota,except the east 1 rod thereof,and aiso
excepting the following described parcels: Commencing at the southeast corner of said Northeast Quarter.
thence west along the south line thereof,a distance of 607.35 feet to the point of beginning of land to be
described;thence continuing west along said south line,a distance of 589.25 feet;thence deIlec[90 degrces
right and north,a distance of 633.00 feet;thence deIlect 90 degrees right and east a distance of 50.00 feet;
thence deElect 90 degrees lek and norch,a distance of 520.00 feer,thence deIlect 90 degrees right and east,
a distance of 539.25 feet;thence deIlect 90 degrees right and south,a distance of 1,153.00 feet to the point
of beginning.
Commencing at the southeast comer oE said Northeast Quarter and ninning thence westerly along the south
line thereof>a distance of 1,196.60 feet to the poin[of beginning;thence deflecCing 90 degrees right and
northerly,a distance of 633.00 feet;thence deIlecting 90 degrees right,a distance of 50.00 feet;thence
deflec[ing 90 degrees left,a distance of 520.00 feet;thence deflecting 90 degrees leh,a distance of 628.4
feet;thence deflect 97 degrees 49 minutes 40 seconds left,a distance of I,143.84 feet to the south line of

The purpose of this hearing is to consider an agricultural subdivision for the purpose of
creating two (2) lots for residential use in the Agriculture District and one (1) oudot
Persons wishing to speak on this issue are invited to attend and be heard at this meeting on
Tuesda� March 7, 1995 at 8:00 p.m. Formal written comments will also be accepted prior
to the meeting date. Please foravard all comments and inquiries to the Planning DepartmenL
