Attached is a letter of request for a donation to the 1995 Rosemount High School Graduation Class Party.
In the past the City Council has decided to donate to this event because it does provide an opportunity for a
"safe, drug and alcohol free" experience for the community's young adults.
Staff recommends your approval to donate $200.00 to the event in 1995.

Dear Friends and Supporters of Rosemount High School;
For over 10 yeazs, the pazents of graduating seniors have provided a safe,
drug and alcohol free "all night party'' on graduation night. The support of this
annual event by individuals and businesses such as yours, have been vital to its
success.
The Senior Class Party has no ongoing funding source. The party is
organized through all volunteer help. Money collected from tickets purchased by the
Seniors does not cover the full cost of this party. Additional expenses must be paid

food, prizes, decorations and entertain*nent, we axe requesting the help of yourself,
community businesses and organizations. In addition to monetary contributions,
we are seeki.ng promotional gifts to be used as prizes for our raftle and game areas.
In turn, you or your business will be reco�;�ed for your commitment.
Please support our 1995 Senior Class Party. Your donation of either a prize
or monetary gift would be greatly appreciated and may also be tax deductible. You
may return the enclosed card to us today. If you would li.ke mare information on
our party, please give us a call. If you wish to provide a prize, please contact us to
arrange for pickup.
