In 1994 $7, 000.00 was encumbered from the 1993 C.I.P. for the purpose of
purchasing and upgrading the equipment in our police vehicles. '
We are requesting to use these funds as follows: '
- replace / upgrade emergency lights and switching '
- replace squad partitions '
- replace sirens � ' �
- add protective bumpers �'
- cost of installation / set-up
Al1 equipment purchase and installation would be done thraugh Road Rescue
of St. Paul. We would expect to begin this project in early March with a
completion date sometime in April.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE THE EXPENDITURE OF $7, 000.00, �'i
FROM ACCOUNT # 202-24412, FOR THE PURCHASE OF POLICE VEHICLE
EQUIPMENT.
