This item consists of approval of plans and specifications for the
0'Leary' s Hills 7th and 8th Additions Street and Utility Improvements,
City Project No. ' s 253 & 254 . We have a set of Plans and I
Specifications on file in my office for your examination. ,
The Feasibility Report was accepted by Council at the March 2 , 1994, '
meeting and the public hearing held on March 15, 1994 . The next step ',
in the process is to approve the plans and specifications and '
authorize Staff to advertise to receive bids for the project. A bid
opening date has been set for May 13, 1994 at 11: 00 a.m. ',
Advertisement will be placed in the City' s official newspaper and
Construction Bulletin. Following the receipt and opening of bids,
Staff will come back to Council for acceptance of bids. Staff
. recommends approval of plans and specs and authorization to advertise
for bids .

RESOLUTION 1994 -
' A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS
O'LEARY'S HILLS 7TH & 8TH ADDITIONS STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO.'S 253 AND 254
WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineers for the City have prepared final plans and
specifications for O'Leary's Hil1s 7th & 8th Additions Street and Utility Improvements,
Project No.'s 253 and 254, and such plans and specifications have been presented to
this Council for approvaL•
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, ,
Minnesota: '
1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved and ordered placed on file
in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official City
newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the
making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications for
.City Project No.'s 253 and 254.
3. The advertisement shall be published in each of said publications at least once
� not less than three (3) weeks before the date set for opening bids, shall specify
the work to be done, shall state that bids will be publicly opened on May 13,
1994 at 11 :00 o'clock a. m. at Rosemount City Hall in said City and that no
bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check
payable to the City Clerk for five (5%) percent of the amount of such bid.
