As the city council is aware Pete Herpst and Gary Ista of the Koch Refining
Safety Team have expressed an interest in working on a cooperative effort
with the Rosemount Fire Department. They submitted a plan to Koch Refining
for the funding of a fire education safety house/trailer. The funding
would come from Koch Refining and the actual construction of the project
would be done by Rosemount firefighters in cooperation with people from
Koch Refining.
Gary Ista and Pete Herpst, from Koch Refining, plan to be on hand for the
council meeting to officially present a check in the amount of $20, 000 to
start the project. They would also be on hand to say a few words or answer
any questions anyone from the council may have.
