Hangers are n�eded to complete the coat room at the Community Center and ''
are not included in the construction contract. Approximately 200 hangers
are needed for the coat racks whieh are attached to the walls of the coat
room. To accommodate 350 people in the banquet room, 150 more hangers are
needed. A portable floor rack would be used to accommodate the additional
150 hangers that a.re needed. A portable rack would allow the staff to move '
the rack to accommodate other functions in the Center.
Purchase prices for one folding portable floor rack with 150 haoks and 200
hangers were researched through three vendors including Business
Essentials, Modern Office and Dallas Midwest. Dallas Midwest offered the
most reasonable price. As a result, I would like to recommend the purchase
of a portable floor rack and hangers from Da11as Midwest for $1, p36 . 80
including tax and delivery.
This purchase would be funded out of the Community Center construction
budget account #427-48000-01-580.
RECOI+�IENDED ACTION: Motion to approve the purchase of hangers and a
portable floor rack from Dallas Midwest in the amount of $1, 036 . 80,
