The project consists of the installation of watermain, sanitary sewer, storrn sewer, street and sidewalk. This is a joint public hearing for the two projects which will be constructed under one public improvement contract for logistica} and cost assessment reasons. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive questions and comments regarding this project from the general public and for the City Council to publicly apprave the project and order the preparation of plans and specifications. A legal notice of the public hearing has been published as required by Iaw and affected property owners have been sent notices. The total project cost is estimated to be 5568,Q00. Of this total 5355,000 is attributable to West Ridge Fifth Addition and $213,000 is assessable to Shannon Ponds Third Addition. No City core funding is required for this project. Dave Simons, P.E., of SEH Engineering will provide an overview of the project. Dave and Staff will then be available to answer any questions you may have. Staff reeommends that the City Council approve the projects and order the preparation of plans and specifications for the two City projects. NOW THEREFORf BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rosemaunt hereby orders the improvements of West Ridge 5th Addition Street and Utifity Improvements, City Project #242 and Shannon Pond 3rd Addition Street and Utility Improvements, City Project #248.
