On February 8, 1994 the Planning Cammission recommended City
Council set a public hearing date for the 1994 Mineral
Extraction Permit Renewal for the Koch Refining property.
Solberg Aggregate Co. has been designated as the pit operator
and is filing fox the permit renewal in cooperation with Koch
Ref ini�sg Co. , property owner.
Staff recommends the public hearing be set for Wednesday, March
2, 1994 beginning at 7:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as
possible.
Recommended Actioa: MOTION to set a public hearing on March 2,
1994 beginning at 7:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible to
hear public testimony on the 1994 Mineral Extraction Permit
Renewal as requested by Koch Refining/Solberg Aggregate Co.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the City Council of the City of Rosemount will hold a
public hearing on Tuesday, February 15, 1994 in the Council Chambers of the City
Hall, 2875 145th Street West, beginning at 8:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as
possible.
The purpose of this hearing is to consider a request to rezone property located at
14785 South Robert Trail and legally described as L.ot 2, Block l, Evenson First
Addition, from G2 (Cornmunity Commercial) to C-4 (General Cammercial), to
permit eonstruction/remodeling of the cunent structure that would expand a cunent
legal non-conforming property use. A rezoning from C-2 to C-4 would cause the
three current auto service related uses of the property to be in conformance with the
ordinance and an expansion of those businesses could be permitted, if other
requirement:, of the City Ordinance can be met.
