One-Year & Three-Year Action Plans for Star City Recertification CITY OF ROSEMOUNT DAROTA COIINTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 1993 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING ONE-YEAR AND THREE-YEAR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLANS FOR STAR CITY RECERTIFICATION WHEREAS, the city of Rosemount has been designated a Star City by the state of Minnesota and has derived benefit from designation; and t�THEREAS, recertification of Star City designation requires City Council approval of one and three year economic development plans; and . WHEREAS, one and three yeax economic development plans have been drafted and reviewed by members of the Planning Commission, Port Authority, City Council, and Chamber of Commerce; and WHEREAS, the Star City Coznmittee met on February 25, 1993 and recommended approval to the City Council of the final draft. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RE$OLVED AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Council of the City of Rosemount hereby approves and adopts the one and three year economic development plans as recommended by the Star City Committee. 2 . " Attached for your review and approval are those documents. Draft copies were earlier circulated to the Port Authority, Planning Commission, Chamber of Commerce Government Actian Committee, and City Council . Several recommendations for change were received and incorporated into these final . documents. On February 25 the Star City Committee met and recommended to you approval of these f i.nal draf ts . One final note. The "Star Ci:y Site Visit" by the state DTED people is scheduled for 3 : 00 p.m. , Wednesday, Nlarch 24, in the council chambers. This is the last step in the recertifica�ion process.
