The City Council approved the expansion of the Police Department by two
officers in 1993 .
With the hiring of Stephen Beberg in April one of the positions was filled. ,
We are now requesting to begin the hiring process for the second officer by
contacting the (MPRS) Minnesota Police Recruitment System for a: list of
qualified applicants.
It is our intention to complete this selection process by September 21, 1993.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CHIEFIOF POLICE TO SEEK
QUALIFIED FOLICE OFFICER CANDIDATES FROM THE MPRS FOR THE PURPOSE OF
HIRING ONE POLICE OFFICER TO BEGIN EMPLOYMENT ON OR ABOUT OCTOBER 1, 1993
