Attached is Change Order #3 to the referenced project which is a
deduction in the amount of $9, 636 from the original contract amount.
The Change Order consist of three items;
1. ) The additional street cleaning required due to the excessive
rains and subsequ�nt erosion of dirt onto the streets which
required cleaning and sweeping prior to the bituminous wear
course installation. This amounted to $433 .50 .
2 . } An additional excavation and sub-grade correction required prior
to the pavement installation. The cost of this item was an
addition of $588.
3 . ) The third item is a procedural item which should have been done
with the previaus change order approving tihe sidewalk
construetion, Change Order #2 . This item amounts to just the
deletion of a previous bid item for sidewalk con:struction which
- amounts to � total deduction from the contract of $1Q, 657.50 . -
The total of the three items amounts to a deduction af $9, 636 from the
original contract amount. The pricing of the additions and
corrections to the contract are within acceptable limits .
Staff recommends approval of this Change Order.

The purpose of this change Order is to allow for the payment of the following items.
1. Addirional street cleaning required to remove an excessive amount of dirt from
the roadway (relating to new home canstruction) prior to sweeping for the
bituminous wear course installation.
Total Cost = $433.50
2. Additional excavation and subgrade correction required to construct the future
stub roads at Cobbler Avenue and Cranberry Way.
Totai Cost = $588.40
3. Delete Bid Item 45 - 4" Concrete Walk (replaced with Change Order No. 2j.
Total Deduct = $10,657.5Q
Total Cost Change Order No. 3 = $9,636.40 (Deduct)
