The Community Center Department will administer a central scheduling system
for all activity within the . Community Center. This includes banquets,
events, programs, open use of the gymnasium and fitness areas, use of all
audio visual equipment, National Guard activities, parking lot capacity,
and use of more than twenty individual rooms. The need for an efficient
and effective scheduling system with a proven track record can not be
understated.

Staff is recommending to purchase a computerized scheduling� program called
"Reservit" . This software is currently used by School Dist'rict #196 and
Moundsview School Di�stricts #621 and #623 . These school districts utilize
"Reservit° to schedule many classrooms, gyms, theaters, athletic fields,
and audio visual equipment. The application of °Reservit" fits perfectly
with our Community Center conditions. "Reservit" has been in use for some
time and comes highly recommended by the school districts mentioned above.
"Reservit" is offered by Edsson, Inc. , at a cost of $1,519 .43 , which
includes sales tax and one year of software maintenance and phone support.
