Tonight the Project Team from the Engineering firm of Bone troo,
Rosene, Anderlik � Associates will present an overview of the two
separate comprehensive studies. A draft of each are enclosed with
yaur packet.
Bonestroos' project team consist of Dan Edgerton, Mark Wallace and
Paul Heuer. Dan and Paul will each present a five minute overview of
the water and sanitary sewer reports and then be available for
questions and answers.
The plans/studies were presented to a joint meeting of the Utilities
Commission, the Planning Commission and the Port Authority on July 19,
1993 . After tonights presentation and questions and answers, we will
set a future public hearing date to receive public comment on the two
plans . It is proposed that at �.hat Council meeting the two plans will
be adopted and sent on to the Metropolitan Council and Metropolitan
Waste Control Commission for their review, and become part of the
Cornprehensive Guide Plan for Rosemount.
The praject team from Bonestroo has been a pleasure for Staff to work
with. They have kept the project on time, within the budget and
professionally examined the project tasks. The purpose of the report '
is to provide the City with plans which will guide the future
development of water and sanitary sewer facilities in the eastern two-
thirds of Rosemount. Staff feels that the Comprehensive Plans are a '
vital tool which will be used throughout the next 20 years in the
development of eastern Rosemount.
