For the past five years the City of Rosemount has assisted in the funding
of the operation of the Rosemount Senior Citizens Center. These funds help
offset the cost of funding programs at the center and for providing the
center with a coordinator from ISD 196.
Attached is a letter from Jan Stoven, Coordinator of the Senior Adult
Programs.
As in past years, the Council included $6,000 in the Council Budget,
Account No. 101-41110-01-307.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE THE EXPENDITURE OF $6,000 TO BE
PAID TO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT 196 FOR OPERATION OF THE ROSEMOUNT
SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER.

Dear Ms Walsh,
This letter is to request the City of Rosemount's donation
of $6,000 for the ISD 196 5enior Adult Program be drafted.
In our conversation on Tuesday, March 1, 1994, you indicated
that the money had been approved by the Rosemount City
Council and is in your budget.
I understand that the City Council must still approve the
expenditure. After this has occurred and the check has been
drawn, please contact me personally. I realize that my line
is often busy so I suggest that if you cannot reach me, let
Cindy Heim Smith know at 423-7721.
Please do not mail the check directly to ISD 196. I must
deposit it in my own budget code. The district is very
large and the check could end up in any account. Thank you �
