The project consists of the installation of watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, street and sidewalk. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive questions and comments regarding this project from the general public and for council to publicly approve the project and proceed with plans and specifications. A legal notice of the hearing has been published as I required by law and effected property owners have been sent notices . As previously discussed, this project is not 100o assessable. The li project cost will be borne by the developer, Ground Development Corporation and by the Storm Water Core Fund. ', If needed, Brian Bourassa, P.E. from OSM Engineering; will present a brief overview and along with Staff will be availal�le for questions. COUNCIL A T C ION: 1 1 1 CITY OF ROSEMOUNT DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA A RESOLUTION FOR THE APPROVAL AND ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR: SHANNON HILLS 6TH ADDITION STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT #251 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount by a unanimous vote ordered a feasibility report for Shannon Hills 6th Addition Street and Utility Improvements, City Project #251; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and accepted the Feasibility Report on February 1, 1994 for City Project #251; and WHEREAS, the City Council ordered and held a public hearing on April 5, 1994 to receive input of this project. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rosemount hereby orders the improvements of Shannon Hills 6th Addition Street and Utility Improvements, City Project #251. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rosemount orders the preparation of plans and specifications for said improvements. ADOPTED this 5th day of April 1994. ATTEST: Sus. M. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive questions and comments regarding this project from the general public and for Council to publicly approve the project and proceed with plans and specifications. A legal notice of the hearing has been published as required by law and effected property owners have been sent notices. As previously discussed, this project is not 100% assessable. The project cost will be borne by the developer, Ground Development Corporation and by the Storm Water Core Fund. We received a letter on Wednesday, February 23, 1994 from the developer, Ground Development Corporation President Steven Fiterman requesting a continuance of the Public Hearing until March 15, 1994 because of his being out of the area for personal reasons. Mr. Fiterman has also expressed concems on the proposed allocation of the� storm sewe� assessments. � If you will remember, we invited residents from the Copper Court area adjacent to the storm water pond on the north side of the Shannon Hills 6th Addition to the Public Hearing so they would be aware if the proposed improvements and construction. If no one from that group is present, we will not present an overview. If needed, Brian Bourassa, P.E. from OSM Engineering, will present a brief overview and along with Staff will be available for questions. Staff recommends that Council make a motion to continue the Public Hearing to March 15, 1994.
