Attached find a letter of request for a donation to the 1994 Rosemount High
School Graduation Class Party.
In the past the City Council has decided to donate to this event because it
does provide an opportunity for a "safe, drug and alcohol free" experience
for the community' s young adults.
I recommend your approval to donate $200 . 00 to the event in 1994 .
RECO�NDED ACTION: MOTION to approve the expenditure of $200 to the
1994 Rosemount High School graduation party out of account 101-41110-01-
598 .

Dear Friends of Rosemount High School:
For over 10 years the parents of graduating seniors have provided a safe, drug and alcohol
free "alt night party" on graduation night. The support of this annual event by businesses
such as yours has been vital to its success.
The Senior Class Party has no ongoing funding source. The party is organized through all
volunteer help. Money collected from tickets purchased by the seniors does not cover the
full cost of this party. Additional ezpenses must be paid for through donations. As all
money collected will help defray the cost of the event for food, prizes, decorations and
entertainment,we are requesting the help of community businesses and organizations. In
addition to monetary contributions,we are seeking promotional gifts to be used as prizes
for our silent auctions and game areas. In turn your business will be recognized for your
commitment.
Please support our Senior C1ass Party. Your donation of either a prize or monetary gift
would be greatly appreciated and tax deductible! You may return the enclosed card to us
today or if you would like more information on our party, give us a call. If you wish to
provide a prize, any of the below list will be happy to arrange for pickup!
