on Trunk Highway #3. The resolution is what is used as the agreement. The agreement I,
states that State Maintenance Crews and equipment will plow, windrow and load the ��
snow into trucks furnished by the City of Rosemount. 1f the State crews cannot meet our �
time schedule, then the State will reimburse the City for our expenses connected with
windrowing and loading the snow. Hauling is always our responsibility. The necessary
;� forms have been signed by our insurance agent.
This is the same agreement we have used with MnDOT for the past several years. It has
worked very well for both us and the State.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION W COOPERATION WITH
STATE FOR SNOW REMOVAL ON TRUNK HIGHWAY NUMBER 3.

RESOLUTION 1994 -
A RESOLUTION tN COOPERATION WITH STATE FOR
SNOW REMOVAL ON TRUNK HIGHWAY NUMBER 3
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemount has been approached by officials of the Minnesota
State Highway Department to enter into a Cooperative Agreement for the removal of
snow on Trunk Highway Number 3 within the City of Rosemount in Dakota County,
Minnesota.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Rosemount City Council hereby authorizes
and instructs its officers and employees to provids trucks as required by the Minnesota
State Highway Department for the removaC of snow from Highway Number 3 within the
City of Rosemount, the Agreement being that State equipment will plow, windrow and
load the snow, and the rernovat and disposal will be by means of fully operated trucks
furnished by the City of Rosemount; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Administrator be and hereby are
authorized and instructed to execute two certified copies of this Resolution and deliver
same to State Highway officials for this Maintenance District; and also to execute any
additional instruments for this purpose that may be required by the Minnesota Highway
Department.
