According to City Policy F-2, any request for expenditures from a
designated donation account must be approved by the City Council.
Account number 101-22222 has been opened for donations received for the
Police Equipment Fund.
The amount of $275. 25 is being requested for the purchase of four light
transmission meters which will measure tinted driver and passenger side
windows of motor vehicles. State law controls the amount of tint on
certain glass areas of motor vehicles. With the use of special meters,
vehicle glass can be measured for unlawful tint.
If approved, the amendment to budgets will be made.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: '
APPROVE THE EXPENDITURE OF $ 275.25 AND APPROVE THE AMENDMENT TO ',
