The City has received two applications for temporary liquor licenses in
connection with Leprechaun Days.
The Knights of Columbus is requesting a license to sell intoxicating liquor
in the parking lot of Last Call Bar & Grill on July 30 and 31 , 1994 . A
contract has been entered between Last Call and Knights of Columbus for
Last Cal1 to cater the liquor. Knights of Columbus wi11 be responsible for
having a fence put up around the area of the parking lot where people can
drink. This `fence will be attached to the building so the only access is
through Last Call's premises.
Rosemount VFW has submitted an application for a temporary liquor license
for July 31, 1994 so the organization can sell liquor in their parking lot
during the tractor pull. The area where drinks are sold will be enclosed.
Both organizations have paid the required fees.
I am recommending that the licenses be approved subject to the city
receiving proof of liquor liability insurance.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE THE TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSE FOR
ROSEMOUNT VFW FOR JULY 31, 1994 AND FOR KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FOR JULY 29
AND 30, 1994 SUBJECT TO RECEIPT OF PROOF OF LIQUOR LIABILITY INSURANCE.
