The Adventure Zone has an Interim Use Permit (IUP) to operate as an '�
outdoor commercial use in the General Industrial District on the
north side of State Trunk Highway 55, across from USPCI. The
�� public hearing is being requested because of noncompliance with
conditions of the IUP. On December 13 , 1994 the Planning
Commission recommended that the public hearing be set and that the
IUP for Adventure Zone be terminated.

Recommended Action: A MOTION to schedule a public hea g r I�,
Z'uesday, January 17, 1995 to be held at 8 :OO; p.m: or as soon
thereafter as possible for the purpose of receiving -public
testimony regarding terminat�on of the Adventure Zone Interim �Use
Permit (IUP) .

thereafter as possiUle. The public hearing pertains to propertv generallv located nortl� of
State T�runk High�vay 55, just east of Spectro A11ovs and legallv descrived as follows:

The purpose of this hearing is to consider a recommendation for the termination of tlte
Adventure Zone Interun Use Perrnit tltat perniitted a Coinrtlercial Outdoor Recreational Use
in the General Industrial District. The Adver�ture Zone has failed to mezt the conciitions of
tlle 1994 Interuti Use Perniit Agreeinent. The pennit is subject to rene�val on.a yearly basis.
