the Official Zoning Map must meet the Federal Emergency
Managemenf Agency's (FEMA) technicai conditions and criteria and
must receive prior FEMA approval before adoption. The
Commissioner of Natural Resources must be given ten (10) days
written notice of all hearings to consider an amendment to this
Ordinance, and said notice shall include a draft of the ordinance
amendment or technical study under consideration.
All requests to change a special flood hazard area designation shall
meet the criteria established by the Federal Emetgency Management
Agency. (Ord. B-25, 2-2-93)

TEXT AMENDMENT TO
CITY OF ROSEMOUNT ZONING ORDINANCE
(R-3 Multiple Family District Densities)
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
NOTICE IS HEREBY C'sIVEN, the City Council of the City of Rosemount will hold a public
hearing to consider the item listed below on Tuesday, October 18, 1994 in the Courtcil
Chambers of the City Hall, 2875 145th Street West, beginning at 8:00 p.m. oar as soon
thereafter as possible.
The purpose of this hearing is to consider a text arnendment to Ordinance B - City of Rosemourct
Zoning Ordinance that will establish maximwt� density requirements for the R-3 Multiple
Family District and to establish criteria that will provide specific guidelines £or the
opportunity to earn density bonuses for multiple family developments exhibiting perfonnance
beyond the basic development standards. Maxuni.un overall densities will be lower per
ordinance if the density bonus is not requested. This ordinance text amendment proposal is
being irutiated Uy the Community Development Department in its effort to facilitate one
eleitient of the IMPLEMENTATION PLAN as directed in Update 2000: City of Rosem�urct
C�mprehensive Guide Pla�e.
A copy of the proposed aznendment is available for review and conninent at City Hall located
at 2875 145th Street West, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.in., Monday through
Friday.
Persons wishing to speak on the proposed amendment are invited to attend this public
hearing on Tuesday, October 18, 1994 at 8:00 �.m. Formal written comments will also be
accepted prior to the meeting date. Please forward all comments and inquiries to the _
Plannutg Department.
