During a recent audit by our Workmen's Comp representative, it was discovered that there
needs to be an af#icial document authorizing the coverage for appointed officials of workers'
campensation and/or personal accident insurance. In researching this issue we could find
nothing in writing supporting this although it has been discussed in the past and our past
premiums have reflected coverage for these officials. This resafution needs to be on #ile to
verify this authorization, whieh should also reflect in our premiums.

AND WORKfRS` CQMPENSATION INSURANCE
FOR APPOiNTED C�MMISSION AND COMMITTEE MEMBERS
N�W, THEREFORE, B� IT RE�OLVED, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section
176.01 1 , Subdivision 9, Ciause 6, officials appointed for a regular term of office or
appointed to complete the unexpired portion of a regular term for the City of
Rosemount(limited to the Community Center Commission, Parks & Recreation
Committee, Planning Commission, Port Authority Commission and Utilrties
Commission} are hereby included in coverage of the Minnesota Workers
Compensation Act.
ADOPTED this 1 st day of February, 1994.
