At their January 10, 1994 Utility Commission meeting the Utility Commission
recommended that this item go before the City Council with their support. The Util'rty
Commission is planning on using the Seniors of Rasemount to stuff water bills into
envelopes. This agreement could also be used for any other City prajects which may
come up, thus the Commission is asking for the City Councils approval of this agreement
a1so.
This agreement is generic so that the City of Rosemount as a whole can use the Senior
Diners and nat only the Utility Department. Th� Utility Department will be using the
Senior Diners as of the April 1 , 1994 billing. Staff has had the City Attorney review the
agreement.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
ROSEMOUNT AND THE ROSEMQUNT SENIOR DINING ORGANIZATION (SENlOR DiNERS)
FOR THE STUFFING OF ENVELOPES.

AGREEMENT made this day of lgg�,
by and between the CITY OF ROSEMOUNT, a Minnesota Municipal
Carporation ( "City" ) , and ROSEMOUNT "SENIOR DIN3NG" ORGANIZATION
( "Senior Diners" ) .
IN CONSIDERATION OF THE MUTUAL UNDERTAKINGS HEREIN, . THE
PARTIES AGR.EE AS FOLLOWS :
1. The City shall, from time to time, `deliver materials
and envelopes to Senior Diners;
2 . Senior Diners agree to stuff the envelapes and keep
them in the order� riecessary, and allow the city to retrieve the
envelapes from the Senior Diners within forty-eight (48? hours of
the City' s delivery of the envelopes;
3 . Senior Diners agree ta provide the City with monthly
invoices once the project is completed, detailing Senior Diners'
services and fees; and
4 . The City agrees to pay Senior Diners three (3) cents
per stuffed envelope.
