AUGUST 30, 1994
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Rosemount
was duly held on Tuesday, August 30, 1994, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
Mayor McMenomy called the meeting to order and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance.
All members of the Council were present. Also in attendance were City Administrator Tom Burt,
Administrative Assistant Susan Walsh, Public Works Director/City Engineer Bud Osmundson, Police
Chief Lyle Knutsen, Fire Chief Scott Aker and Finance Director Jeff May.
City Administrator Burt reviewed a proposed operating budget and capital improvements budget for
1995. Following considerable discussion of suggested cuts from the operating budget, review of the
capital improvements budget and suggested levy increases for 1995, a consensus was reached that
another workshop should be held to further discuss the budget.
MOTION by McMenomy to set a special council rneeting for Wednesday, September 7, 1994, at 7:30
p.m. to further review the budget. SECOND by Wippermann. Ayes: Anderson, Wippermann,
McMenomy, Staats, Busho. Nays: None.
MOTION by Wippermann to adjourn. SECOND by Staats. Ayes 5. Nays: 0.
