Ms. Betty Jo Schmit is interested in acquiring some vacant land
from the Port Authority to build 'a dance studio along Burma Avenue,
north of 147th Street West.
The land consists of three small lots that must be combined for the
proposed building and parking lot. Planning staff is requesting
that a public hearing be set for City council consideration of the
plat. A Planning Commission recommendation will be available
regarding the disposition of the plat.
Recommended Actioa: A MOTION to schedule a public hearing for
Tuesday, October 18, 1994 at 8 :00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as
possible to hear public testimony regarding the proposed Betty Jo
Schmit preliminary plat.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the City Cowncil of the City of Rosemount will hold a public
hearing on Tuesday, October I8, 1994 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 2875 ,
145th Street West, beginning at 8:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The public
hearing listed below pertains to the property located at I4675 Burma Avenue. The
preliminary plat is proposed to be located on the following legally described property:
- Lots 11 through 13, Block 3, Rosemount Village-
The purpose of this hearing is to consider a preliininary plat for the pwcpose of constructing a
dance studia
Persons wishing to speak on this issue are invited to attend and be heard at this meeting on
Tuesday, October 18, 1994 at 8:00 p.m. Formal written comments will'also be accepted
prior to the meeting date. Please forward all comments and imquiries to the Planning
Department.
