Mr. Ron Carlson, Carlson Properties of Rosemount, has requested a
rezoning of land in Carrousel Plaza South from R-3 Multiple Family
Residential to BP-2 Business Park. The land is an outlot of 8 .3
acres generally located west and south of the new GTI Theater site.
On September 27, 1994 the Planning Commission reviewed the request
and made a recommendation regarding the rezoning. The Planning
Commission also recommended the scheduling of a public hearing
regarding the rezoning request.

Recommended Actiaa: A MOTION to schedule a public hearing for
Tuesday, October 18, 1994 at 8: 00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as
possible to hear public testimony regarding the rezoning petition
as submitted by Mr. Ron Carlson for 0utlot A, Carrousel Plaza
South.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the City Council of the City of Rosemount will hold a public
hearing on Tuesday, October I8, 1994 in the Council Charn�ers of the City Hall, 2875
145th Street West, beguuiing at 8:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possib�e.' The public
hearing listed below pertains to the property generally located south of 151st Street West,
southeast along Carrousel Way, and east of Chippendale Avenue. The proposed area for the
rezoning is legally described as follows:
- Outlot A - Canousel Plaza South-
The purpose of this hearing is to consider a rezoning from AG Agxiculture to BP Business Park
of the above described property. The proposed zoning district is consistent with the
Comprehensive Guide Plan Land Use'Designation.
Persons wishing to spealc on this issue are invited to attend and be heard at this meeting on
Tuesday, October 18, 1994 at 8:00 �.m. Formal written comments will also be accepted
pzior to the meeting date. Please forward all comments and inquiries to the Planrung
Departxnent.
