SUBJ: April 19, 1994 City Council Minutes
Sheila Klassen requested that she be added to the May 17 agenda. She is objecting ta
the minutes that were published with regaxds to the USPCI public hearing. More
specifically, the paragraph which summarizes her comments.
City Attomey Miles advises that the Council, if it so chooses, can amend the minutes.
Attached are the April 19 minutes with that particular paragraph highlighted.

Engineering, and USPCI to support her argur�ent that the MSW ash frQm the HERC
faciliiy eontains hazardous 1ev�1s Qf lead and mercury,that RFD ast� can produce odars, and
that�h�e feit approua!of USPCPs request�►ouid drasticaily aiter th�e ariginal intent of their
Rosemour�t facility, She ai�a note�the city does fiinancially benefit from USPC1, but asked
Council not to � distracted by the money issue vuhen making its decision.
