On Friday, May 13, 1994, immediately prior to the opening of bids for this project, we
were notified by some prospective bidders that there were a number of pages missing in
the specifications which could have an effect on the bid prices. We were advised by the
City Attorney that we should return the bids unopened to the prospective bidders, notify
all plan holders of the error in the specifications and re-bid the project at a later date. We
have chosen May 27, 1994 as the date for re-bidding the project. The bids will then be
brought to Council on June 7, 1994 for award.
