John Erickson, a member of the Rosemount Fire Department, has submitted his
resignation effective April 30, 1994 . John has been a member of the
Rosemount Fire Department for almost five years . As is indicated in his
letter, his family and educational commitment will be demanding the
maj ority of his time.
At a regular monthly meeting of the Rosemount Fire Department held on
April 26, 1994, the membership accepted John Erickson' s resignation with an
effective date of April 30, 1994 . �
We look to the city council to ratify this action.

RECON�LENDED ACTION: Motion to ratify the fire department' s action and
accept John Erickson' s resignation from the fire department effective
April 30, 1994.

Dear Sirs;
I hereby qive my resignation as a firefighter of the Rosemount
Fire Department effective April 31 , 1994 .
Due to my present and future plans concerning my ongoing educa-
tion and €amily committment, I will not be able to give my time
and attention to the Fire Department that it derserves and needs.
Thankyou very much for the education and experience in the fire-
medical service.
