The Shannon Pond 1 st Addition construction was completed in October, 1994. All public
utilities and streets were inspected and accepted by the City as of November 1, 1994. i
This item is a request to Council to accept the streets and utilities for perpetual 'I
maintenance in the Shannon Pond 1 st Addition. Per the Development Contract and this '�
acceptance, a two year warranty period begins (until November 1, 1996) on the streets, I,
watermain, sanitary sewer and storm sewer. ,
Staff recommends that the City accept the street and utilities. ',
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ACCEPT THE STREETS AND UTILITIES FOR
PERPETUAL MAINTENANCE IN THE SHANNON POND 1 ST ADDITION, CITY PROJECT #231.

Re: Final Acceptance of Sanitary Sewer, Watermain, Storm Sewer and Streets for Phase 1,
Shannon Pond P.U.D. Rosemount, Minnesota
Dear Bud:
It is my understanding that the public works construction for sanitary sewer,
watermain, storm sewer and streets in the subject project have been completed and
tested in accordance with the approved plans and specif'ications. Consequentiy, I am
recommending that the project be accepted by the City.
Payment of the contract retainage to the project contractor is being withheld until we
receive your written acknowledgement. Please act on this matter as soon as possible.
