At the last regular port authority meeting Chairperson Carroll provided a
report on a meeting with Dakota County Technical College students and their
instructor. The students had made a presentation to Mr. Carroll and
various city staff persons about various proposals for a business park
monument. A booklet of those and other ideas was included in the agenda
packet. Mr. Carroll stated he would be asking for your comments at a
future meeting.
It is my understanding that the chairperson will be soliciting your
comments . Do you like one or two or more of the proposals? Do you want
additional work on one or more designs? Do you want a more traditional
design?
The people from the technical college have stated a strong interest in
continuing to work with the port authority in determining an acceptable
design. And, they are willing to visit with you and to produce additional
work at your direction. Again, there is no fee for this work.
