During a recent audit by our Workmen's Comp representative, it was discovered that there
needs to be an official document authorizing the coverage for appainted officials of workers'
campensation and/or personal accident insurance. In researching this issue we could find
nothing in writing supparting this although it has been discussed in the past and our past
premiums have reffected coverage for these officials. This resolution needs to be on file to
verify this authorization, which should also reflect in our premiums.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSTIFtANCE
�ND WORRERS' COMPENSATION INSURANCE
FOR APPOINTED COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE MEMBERS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes
Section 176. 011, Subdivision 9, Clause 6, officials appointed for
a regular term of office or appointed to complete the unexpired
portion of a regular term for the City of Rosemount (limited to
the Community Center Commission, Parks & Recreation Committee,
Planning Commission, Port Authority Commission and Utilities
Commission) are hereby included in coverage of the Minnesota
Worker5 Compensation Act.
ADOPTED this 18th day of January, 1994 .
