Status of and Schedule for Final Plat . CITY OF ROSEMOUNT EXECUTIVE SIIMMARY FOR ACTION PORT AUTHORITY MEETING DATE: FEBRUARY 15, 1994 AGENDA ITEM: STATUS OF AND SCHEDULE FOR FINAL AGENDA SECTION: P'r OLD BUSIIVESS PREPARED BY: JOHN MILLER, AGENDA NO. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR 4 . A. (2) ATTACHMENTS: COPY OF PRELIMINARY PLAT AP OVED BY: 'ZGiI Attached please find a chronology of events that must happen for the final plat of the first addition of the Rosemount Business Park to be filed. The chronology was supplied by the city' s assistant planner, Rick Pearson, who is responsible for scheduling the plat before the planning cammission and city council . Now to the issues. At the January 25th meeting the port authority staff was directed to have SEH, the consulting engineers, complete the final plat. Before that work is initiated we need three issues resolved: 1. At this point we believe that the board wishes the "Muller parcel" to be subdivided as Lot 1, Block 1 of the First Addition with the remainder of the 80 acres to be platted as an outlot. The only exception being right-of-way. Can the board members re- affirm this? 2 . Right-of-way. How far do the board members want to extend the roads and utilities (see item 4. A. 1. ) . If the port authority wishes to extend roads beyond the Muller parcel, then the right- of-way should be platted now. 3 . Amenities. If the board does not wish to have the high amenity entrance road, the right-of-way can be reduced providing additional land for sale. As the Muller parcel is contiguous with the road, this issue must be resolved before the engineer can complete the final plat. There should be three separate motions from the board members on these three issues. The board actions should, for the most part, be determined in the general discussion to take place under item 4 . A. (1) . RECOI+lENDED ACTION: Board discretion. Three separate motions recommended for: 1) land area to be platted, 2) extension of right- of-way, and 3) width of Business Parkway.
