At a previous Port Authority meeting the issue of relea.sing closed meeting tapes was discussed and the
availability to the public. At that time the City Attorney advised that these tapes have attorney client
privileged information as it relates to present and past legal issues in the City. He advised against the
release as it may compromise the City's future position on any e�cisting and possible future litigation. Ms.
5tevenson is asking for the City Council to take an official position on the release of these tapes and is
asking for an official policy as it relates to the retention of closed session meeting tapes.

Dear Mr. Burt,
Please let this letter serve as my official request to have the follawing
items placed on the agenda at the next council meeting.
1. Providing video taping fn�the public access channel.
2. I would like to have a ofFcial vote from council members
concerning the closed session meetings list that is not available
tio members of the public. This was not to my knowledge any
official vote on this mattec It was only a discussion held at the
end of the Po�t Authority meeting.
3. I would like to have the official policy regarding retention of these
and other tapes that have been made.
