The Rosemount Port Authority has received the following bills and invoices .
1. Urban Land institute (membership) $240 . 00
2 . Dakota county (taxes on business park) $ 2 , 015 . 09
The Rosemount Port Authority purchased the Abbott property after July 1,
1993 . I have been advised that because of the November 5, 1993 purchase
date the Port Authority is responsible for taxes payable in 1994 . The
original tax invoice was mailed to the wrong address as was the delinquency
notice. As the port authority never received the original notice, I am
filing a request for abatement on behalf of the port authority.
RECOI�II2ENDED ACTION: Motion to pay bills and invoices as submitted
with the exception of the property tax penalty.
