Associated Developers will appear before the commissioners and ask two
questions :
1. Is the port authority interested in creating a redevelopment tax
increment finance district to facilitate the redevelopment of the
Carlson Tractor site?
2 . Does the port authority like the land uses proposed for the
Carlson tractor site?
Gene Pederson from Associated Developers will make an oral presentation to
you and also submit to you a concept plan for the site. David Drown from
Springsted will also be in attendance to discuss how the redevelopment
district would work.
Mr. Drown has, at my request, already done some projections on the
availability of TIF money.
