I am trying to set up a field trip/tour of the senior housing
projects done by Dakota County HRA.
A tour of the Haskel Court units in West St . Paul will give us a
good idea of what a combination 2 and 3 structure looks like. It
is also an excellent example of how a project such as this
integrates into an existing residential neighborhood. On the way
back from West St . Paul we will observe a three-story unit off
Cliff Road in Eagan.
We will get off the bus in West St . Paul and tour the building,
including a typical tenant unit. Since the interiors of all
projects are typical we will not go through the Eagan project
unless there is a strong desire to do so.
Members of the Rosemount site neighborhood will be invited
accompany the tour. The press will also be invited. Invitation
such as the attached will be sent to invitees .
I have tentatively set September 6, 1994 as the date. This is a
regularly scheduled meeting date for the Port Authority. If the
agenda for this meeting is anticipated to contain action items we
will need to set an alternate date for the tour or set a special
Port Authority Meeting. Please bring your calendars to the
meeting.
The tour is probably the easiest to reschedule so I am suggesting
that if necessary we alternatively set September 7th or September
14th for our tour.
Please be prepared to set a firm date.
