This is a request for Council to approve the sale or disposal of unclaimed
property which has been received by tk�e Palice Department and the sale ar
disposal af surplus property owned by the city.
Police Chief Knutson and I will be holding a garage sale an August 14, from
8:30 to approximately 10:30 a.m.
The below listed items are what I am requesting Council to allow staff to
sell at the garage sale; and if not sold, to dispose ofs
Bicycles (25) Vacuums
Car Stereos and Tape Players Topper for pickup truck
"Walkman° headsets Steel cots
Weed Whips & parts ,7umping jack
2 hose reels Misc, autdoar lights
1-1/2 inch water pump Small Line Marker
Drop tank 1 Set of Bases
Misc. Office Equipment
Upon approval of Council to dispose of the above, I wi11 publish a notice
in our legal newspaper and advertise the sale in our city newslettgr and
t�rough community service annauncements.
RECOMMENDED ACTIDN: MOTION TO APPROVE THE DISP4SAL OF UNCLAIMED PRUPERTY
AND SURPLUS PROPERTY AS LISTED ABOVE AND TO DIRECT THE CITY CLERK TO
DEPOSIT THE PROCEEDS FROM THE PUBLIC SALE INTO THE GENERAL FUND.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC SALE
N�TICE {S HEREBY GtVEN that the City of Rosemount wilt conduct a public sate of
unclaimed personal property and surplus city property on Saturday, August 14, 1993,
beginning at 8:30 A.M. The sale will be held in�the parking lot at Rosemount Ci#y Hall,
2875 - 145th S#reet West, Rosemount, Minnesota.
Property will be sold on a first come first serve basis according to the price affixed to
eaeh item.
Pursuant to City Code Sec#ion 7-6-2-C, the true owner of unclaimed personal property
may reclairn the same, upon satisfactory proof of ownership'from the City Clerk, either
prior to the sale or by making application within six (6} months from the date af the
sale.
