The City has received a request frorn a resident on 153rd St eet West to
hold a block party on Saturday, August 28, 1993, from 4 : 00 p.m. to
9 :00 p.m.
If this zequest is approved, barricades will be placed just east of
Columbia Way on 153rd Street and just west af Columbary Circle on 153rd
Street. These barricades will prohibit through traffic in this area except
for emergency situations. Attached is a map indicating the location of the
block party and where the barricades will be placed.
Residents on 153rd Street from C3aret Avenue to Colurnbia Way have signed a
petition indicating their approval of the block party.
RECON�3SNDED ACTION:
Motion to approve the Block Party request to be held on 153rd Street
West between Columbia Way and Columbary Circle on August 28, 1993,
between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 9 :00 p.m.

The City of Rosemount has reguested that organizers of the
153rd/154th Streets block party obtain signatures of homeowners
that will be effected by the porposed block party on August 28,
1993 from 4:00 p.m, to 9:00 p.m. This party will require the
blackage of 153rd Street farrn the corner of Columbia Way to the
corner of Columbary Circle. (A totai of about 1 /2 block} .
