The Community Center Manager has nearly completed th ice s edule for the
1993/94 season. In this process, it was determined there is a need to
establish a written policy regarding a scheduling priority for ice rental .
After setting up a schedule, a1i available prime time ice will be
contraeted out with no difficulty. In fact, the difficulty lies in
deciding which organization to limit a low percentage of ice time! To aid
the decision making proCess, the Community Center Commission recommends the
fallowing poTicy:
The following .order of priority is established for the scheduling of ice
time to major users {+200 hours per year} :
1, Community Center sponsored programs (open skating, learn to
skate, events, ete. )
2 . Rosemount High School Hockey & Ringette games & practices, based
on limits mutually agreed upon.
3 . Rosemount Area Hockey Association.
4 . Other hockey associations or organizations requesting 200 or more
hours per year.
After the above groups have been scheduled consecutively, ice time for
secondary users Cless then 200 hours per year) will be scheduled an a tirst
come - first serve basis.
RECQMMENDD ACTION: Motion to approve the above policy regarding
scheduling priority of major users.
