Attached is a petition for local improvements from the Department of Military Affairs (DMA) for Lot 3, Auditor's Subdivision 1 which is located north of the railroad tracks and adjacent and west of Biscayne Avenue as shown on the attached location map. At this time we do not have a preliminary plat or site drawing of any kind from the DMA, therefore we will not order a Feasibility Report until we receive more information. We anticipate that improvements including water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and street will need to be implemented on Biscayne Avenue from 145th Street West northerly to some undetermined point north of the railroad tracks. Staff will keep Council abreast of any future submittals by the DMA. The project is anticipated to be constructed in 1994 and therefore we have assigned this as Project #249. RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR LOT 3, AUDITOR'S SUBDIVISION 1 WITHIN THE CITY OF ROSEMOUNT. COUNCIL ACTION: 12 CITY OF ROSEMOUNT DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 1993 - A RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION DEPARTMENT OF MILITARY AFFAIRS FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS ON LOT 3, AUDITOR'S SUBDIVISION 1 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount has received a petition from the Department of Military Affairs of the proposed Maintenance Shops in Lot 3, Auditor's Subdivision 1 Local Improvements. NOW THEREFORE BE IT -RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount as follows: (1) the property owner requests in the petition that the improvements be constructed and that the entire cost for their share less the City's share of the cost of the improvement be assessed against the property; (2) the aforesaid petition is approved and placed on file; and ADOPTED this 7th day of December, 1993.
