Diane Noxdquist and other representatives of the Dakota County HRA will be
present to review with you and interested land owners the merits of two
possible senior housing sites. Since the last public discussion of this
issue two of the commissioners have requested specific information. Those
requests were forwarded to the HRA.
The board should indicate which site it wishes �o redevelop, and yes,
design standards, e.g. two-story building can be mandatory. After
selec�ion of a site, initiation of zoning and other approvals can be
completed. Final site selection, contingent upon resolution of zoning
issues, can be campleted as early as December 7.
RECONII�lENDED ACTION: Motion to direct the port authority staff to draft
in resolution ��� -3--f_______�_ __ ____ selecting the ���- Cameo)
site as the location for the HRA` s senior housing project for
presentation at the December 7 meeting.
