As the Rosemount Port Authority now has a contractual interest in the
Abbott property and as it is working with Muller Family Theaters on the
purchase of a ten acre parcel, there is a fair amount of paperwork that
must be completed. The land must be subdivided, bonds sold, and title
transferred. Several of these items are addressed elsewhere on the
September 7 agenda.
Other items that must be addressed include rezoning of the property from
its present agriculture zoning district to the "Business Park" districte
In this agenda item I am asking for authorization to initiate that action
and to appear before the planning commission and city council on your
behalf in accomplishing the rezoning.
RECON�lENDED ACTION: Motion to initiate with the city of Rosemount
rezoning of the Abbott property from agriculture to business park.
PORT AUTHORITY ACTION:
